I do not “subscribe” to the Daily Kos, but thye following blog was sent to me, and although I disagree with the author’s contentions regarding George Bush and Dick Cheney, the overall sentiment regarding Obama’s promises and the earmarks, etc. are quite accurate:

...And if I was naive, well, that’s okay, we still got the best person elected to the highest office in the land. But if now-President Obama was naive, well, then, H ouston, we’ve got a problem.

...Especially do NOT tell me these things when the President of the United States says: “You know, there are times where you can afford to redecorate your house and there are times where you need to focus on rebuilding its foundation,” he said recently about the “hard choices” we must make. Well, I say to you, Mr. President, that the Congress is your house and that’s where those hard choices should be enforced - not on people who no longer have houses to redecorate.=C2
