The avalanche of facts, truths, information about his real origin and existence up until he wormed his way into the US Senate crashes ferociously around him but does not touch him. He may be the ultimate fraud but none of the sordid facts uncovered about him makes one bit of difference to the chaotic situation the USA now finds itself in.
Tragically for the USA, he is there to stay, to fulfill his destiny: to wreak havoc on the country and the people until they are brought to their knees. Maybe then, the people will realize why this curse has been inflicted on them. And maybe, hopefully, they will once again remember who they are and "look to the hills from whence comes 'their' help".
