Liar! Liar! Liar!

LIES
by Victoria Jackson
Big Hollywood

I’m lying in my Tiffany blue bedroom, in the dark, listening to the President tell lies. He’s so good at it, that he is smiling and lots of people are clapping.

He says, “Public Option. No one will have to change, if they like their present situation.” LIE.

He says, “My plan will not add one dime to the deficit.” LIE. (Congressional Budget Committee speak up!)

He says that if we don’t act now, the country will fall apart. LIE.He says that quality of health care won’t suffer. LIE

He says that there won’t be rationing and those that say there will be are liars. LIE.

He says that the Republicans have no solutions to offer up. LIE (Several of them lift papers into the air.)He says that this is not socialism. LIE

He says this is the “moral” thing to do! LIE (Take money from the middle class and give it to the non-taxpayers and illegals?!)

He says this won’t insure the illegals! LIE….

And then, wait, I choke on my caffeine-free Diet Coke… Like a voice from above, I think I just heard someone shout out, just what I was thinking, ”LIE!”

I can’t believe it! Someone used the real word, not the politically correct word, “Disingenuous!” Nancy Pelosi’s big, arrogant smile suddenly drops and she looks over to the Republican side of the room with the mean glare of a stern librarian!

This is fantastic theatre! (more…)

Lie - R - In saying one more thing about Obama being a liar........he is a liar.

Was Rep. Joe Wilson responding in kind? -...calling someone a liar just isn't done in Washington. At least publicly. Just about any synonym--fabrication, prevarication, fiction--can be used, but never, ever is someone publicly accused of lying.

It's just not done.

Until Wednesday night, when the unwritten stricture was broken by ... Barack Obama.

...Yet, Obama was calling some of the people seated before him, liars, in front of a national television audience...
Flick Off Obama -What congressional decorum is there in an environment where the lie is now Undisputed King?

Obama To Be First President To Chair UN Security Council

The Betrayal

Some unprecedented news today, folks. Never in the history of the United Nations has a U.S. President taken the chairmanship of the powerful UN Security Council. Perhaps it is because of what could arguably be a Constitutional prohibition against doing so. To wit: Section 9 of the Constitution says:

  • No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.
Nonetheless, the rotating chairmanship of the council goes to the U.S. this month. The normal course of business would have U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice take the gavel.

However, this time will be different. Constitution be damned, Barack Hussein Obama has decided to put HIMSELF in the drivers seat, and will preside over global nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament talks slated to begin September 24th.

The Financial Times says:

  • Barack Obama will cement the new co-operative relationship between the US and the United Nations this month when he becomes the first American president to chair its 15-member Security Council.

Patriots to storm Washington, target out-of-control spending

Taxpayers swarm capitol, launch massive tea party

Excerpt:
Just one day after President Obama plans tries to recapture the initiative in the health-care debate with a speech to a joint session of Congress, thousands of taxpayers plan to storm Washington, D.C., in a three-day event to take their fight against excessive spending, bailouts, growth of big government and soaring deficits to the front door of the U.S. Capitol.

In a major movement unaffiliated with – but inspired by – Fox News' Glenn Beck's 9-12 Project, called the National Taxpayer Protest, thousands of Americans are answering the call and traveling to make their voices heard at Capitol Hill.

Sept. 10 marks the kickoff of the three-day march on Washington.

...Brendan Steinhauser of FreedomWorks, one of the groups organizing the Sept. 12 event, told WND, "We're expecting a huge gathering at the Washington, D.C., armory in the morning, and we'll talk about bailouts, cap and trade and health care. The feedback has been great. It's been phenomenal. Everybody wants to be a part of the event, and it's exciting."

The National Taxpayer Protest Facebook page hosts more than 2,200 members. Some comments include:

  • I can't wait. It's time for Congress to listen instead of dictate

  • I will be going and taking the whole family with me.

  • Let's take back America and put it in the hands of those who truly care for the interests of this nation and its people!

  • This is more than important – it is imperative. I am going to try to go! Hope to see y'all there!

  • I'm spending hundreds of dollars to get there from Las Vegas, and it's worth every penny!

  • This is a good start. We have to stand up and fight for our rights and our future!

Steinhauser said attendees will begin arriving today and hotels will quickly fill up. Excitement is building, he said, and some have indicated they will not wait to take their message to lawmakers and the president.

"I talked to some people from Arizona, Pennsylvania and North Carolina who are coming in today," he said. "There's been talk of a spontaneous protest while Obama is giving his address for people to stand on Pennsylvania Avenue tonight and sort of set it off. There's a lot of energy."

...Several organizations have united to help organize the National Taxpayer Protest's descent on the Capitol, including: Freedom Works, Grassfire/ResistNet, Tea Party Patriots, National Taxpayers Union, Club for Growth, Americans for Tax Reform, Young Americans for Liberty, Ayn Rand Center for Individual Rights, Our Country Deserves Better, Campaign for Liberty, Leadership Institute, Free Republic, Young America's Foundation, the National Association of Rural Land Owners and Smart Girl Politics.

"Our mission is to present a unified voice of concern over the current administration's policies regarding taxation, our economy, foreign and domestic policy, as well as our individual constitutional rights as American citizens," said Grassfire national coordinator Darla Dawald in an open invitation to the public to join the Sept. 12 taxpayer march in Washington, D.C.

"America is in trouble, the problems and issues are broad and complex and it will take a monumental effort to stop, change and reverse the destructive course that this administration and Congress has put us on. Together, We the People can effect that change!"

...Jenny Beth Martin of Tea Party Patriots told WND the groups are focused on "protecting the values and principles that have made America the greatest nation for future generations."

Steinhauser told WND, "People want to do this. The people who have been protesting around the country want to come to Washington and do this in D.C. In a lot of ways, they are being ignored and the media is underrepresenting them and their numbers. They want to come together for one big event and send a very clear message."

..."They're saying that your voice doesn't count and that you will not be heard," he said. "At the 9-12 Taxpayer March on Washington we have an opportunity to show them just how wrong they are."

Obama may try to create crisis atmosphere to pass health care

by Rick Moran
American Thinker

Excerpt:
This is something the president has proven himself very good at doing; ginning up fear over the consequences of not passing one of his agenda items.

  • ...Obama must recapture the sense of urgency that led to passage of the economic rescue package in February, analysts said.

  • "At the moment, except for the people without insurance, we're not in a health-care crisis," said Stephen Wayne, a professor of government at Georgetown University in Washington. "You do need a crisis to generate movement in Congress and to help build a consensus."

Never let a crisis go to waste, eh Rahmbo?

It will be interesting to see how Obama frames the issue to develop a sense of urgency for reforming something the overwhelming majority of Americans believe needs some tweaking but not catastrophic overhaul.

My guess will be that he simply makes stuff up to get what he wants. He's done it before;... And it is likely that he will lie about the "crisis" in health care to try and get that passed as well.
